THE LIMPET

The Locally Integrated Medical and Provisions Emergency Toolkit (LIMPET) was inspired by the aquatic gastropod of the same name and designed for immediate relief after hurricanes in flood hazard zones in the southern United States. Mimicking the limpet's "stuck but mobile" mechanism that allows them to cling to rocks while moving to find food, my team and I designed the LIMPET to be in place before a disaster strikes to aid the community immediately after. I created this video as a pitch and explanation for the product.
